Abbott Northwestern orthopedists hold free seminar in St. Cloud

ST. CLOUND, MINN. 07/10/2009--The Arthritis Foundation and Abbott Northwestern Hospital are sponsoring Arthritis: Conservative and Surgical Options Saturday, July 18 at the Whitney Senior Center, Olson Room, 1527 Northway Dr. in St. Cloud, Minn.

The keynote speakers are orthopedists Scott Anseth, M.D., and Robert Tuttle, M.D., from Abbott Northwestern's Joint Replacement Center and Deborah Sales Maysack, North Central Chapter president and CEO of the Arthritis Foundation.

"We want people to know the operative and non-operative options that exist for arthritis," said Dr. Anseth. "We’ll be talking especially about arthritis of the knee, foot and ankle."

The seminar is from 9:30 a.m. to11:30 a.m. and is free. Because refreshments will be served, people are asked to call the Whitney Senior Center to register at 320-255-7245 as soon as possible.

Abbott Northwestern Hospital is part of Allina Hospitals & Clinics, a not-for-profit health care system of hospitals, clinics and other patient care services that provides exceptional care to communities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
