Kenny Kids offers summer classes
COON RAPIDS, Minn. 06/17/2009--Kenny KidsTM Pediatric Rehabilitation offers summer classes called Learning through Play.
Licensed occupational, physical and speech therapists use activities that enhance skills for children who have medical conditions or syndromes that interfere with normal development.
'Learning through Play' 2009 summer series
All classes are held at Kenny Kids on 3111 124th Avenue NW in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
Each class series costs $120.
Registration is available by calling 763-236-7337.
- Talking Tykes is for three- to five-year olds who communicate using at least two to three word phrases, June 29 to August 3, 8:45 to 10:15 a.m.
- Let's Get Writing is for children ages six to 12 who are experiencing handwriting difficulties, July 15 to August 19, 1:30 to 2:45 p.m.
- Handwriting Without Tears for Child and Caregiver is for four- to six-year olds, July 30 to September 3, 8:30 to 9:45 a.m.
- Social Language Builders is for kids aged five to seven who use a minimum of four- to five-word sentences, July 30 to September 3, 10:45 a.m. to noon.

Kenny Kids is part of Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. Sister Kenny, part of Allina Hospitals & Clinics, specializes in treating spinal cord injury, brain injury, stroke, work or sports- related injuries and neurological or muscular disorders including arthritis, and multiple sclerosis, speech-language disorders and chronic pain.
